Issue:
Master data management is a key factor in the ability of companies, to simplify internal
processes
and to automate product information in external processes with business partners. Property
dictionaries and
classifications should be standardized to ensure a large acceptance within and outside of
companies. This
Seminar provides an overview of current trends in the development and use of classification
systems and
property dictionaries. On the basis of various industrial examples show how the use of
standards
can lead to cost reductions and quality improvements.
